Parks Department Reservations

Reserving Tam O'Shanter

This multiple-use park is approximately 38 acres in size and is located directly south of Kelso High School, adjoining the Coweeman River.  The park is open year around.


Tam O'Shanter has multipurpose field for soccer, two horseshoe pits, three girls fast pitch softball fields, one Babe Ruth field, five Bambino fields (two lighted), ten restrooms, and a basket ball court with six hoops. There is a large playground to the south of the fields for use by younger children.

There is a large and small covered picnic area in the park available for renting.  The shelters are suitable for picnics, company outings, class reunions, family reunions, etc… No alcohol is allowed in the park.  No reservations are taken between October and February.
