Utility Rates as of January 1, 2009

WATER RATES

The majority of residents residing in a single family home inside the City of Kelso limits will use a ¾” water meter and pay a fixed bi-monthly charge of $15.46 and pay an additional sum equal to $2.27 per every 100 cubic feet of water consumed.  Household usage is 1,300 cf.  Based on the above a typical resident would pay $37.24 per month.  (Water & Sewer Rate Ordinance No. 09-3698)


SEWER RATES

The majority of residents residing in a single family home inside the City of Kelso limits will pay a fixed bi-monthly charge of $95.57.  Therefore a typical resident will pay $47.79 per month.  (Water & Sewer Rate Ordinance No. 09-3698)


GARBAGE RATES

The rate for once-per week collection for a single-family dwelling shall be $10.30 per month for a 90 gallon container and an additional $10.30 per month for each additional container.

STORMWATER RATES

The monthly service charge for each single-family and duplex parcels shall be $5.37 per month.
